I am very much a newbie when it comes to abstract art. For many years I never saw the point in it. I am thoroughly embarrassed and ashamed to admit that I was one of the "a child could do it" brigade. However, as I have grown older I have become increasingly fascinated by its many forms and just how difficult it is to actually produce a good abstract painting.
