This painting was my first concerted effort to produce a piece of abstract work. Up till this point in time I had never had any interest in abstract art, I simply didn’t see the point of it and I am ashamed to say I was a member of the "a child could do it" brigade. However, the odd attempt to have a go, made me realise how difficult it actually is to produce a good piece of abstract art. I decided therefore, to get off my high horse and accept the challenge. As a result I discovered how exciting and stimulating it can be and that I have a fondness for the completed work equal to that I feel for my other work.(Shipping extra).
