It seems that nowadays, to be successful you need an online presence no matter what you are engaged in. This means a website, social media and, ofcourse a blog. I am of a different time, so little of this existence makes sense to me. However, I want to succeed, so here I am, setting off with my very own blog, with no idea what I am really doing here. I am still trying to get to grips with my Facebook Business Page, and am still surprised when I see someone has actually looked at it, and OK, I admit it feels good, and makes me happy when they do. So, in the same vein, I am taking the leap into blogdom, without really knowing how or what to do, in the hope that you will help me and that I will find the way.

I am keeping in mind as I attempt this that I have taught a number of subjects on my way through life, and I think probably the most important piece information that should be drummed into us all, is that there is no right way of doing anything, there is only your way. If your way works for you, then it is the right way. We are all different, and as the French say "Vive la difference!", it's what makes the world interesting. So, here I am starting out, and doing it my way. This may change over time, it may not, but for the moment let's just hope I get it right.
