OK I'm cheating a bit here. This was not a commission, (but it did lead to a commission of a similar piece - AUM). It is a piece of artwork that I did purely for myself. It was also my first attempt at using a palette knife. A bit scary, I took it very slowly! It is an acrylic painting on a stretched canvas. It is one of those paintings that always surprises you when you go back to it. The colours always seem different, and the mood subtly changes, but it is a very peaceful painting and it always draws me in. It also led to a commission for a similar one as a birthday present, now completed and also shown in this gallery. See the testimonial page.
